Tick This Off Your Bucket List?


It's here...





There it is folks. 

The long awaited, keenly anticipated,  deliciously ridiculous deep-fried burger. 

As of today, you can shove that beauty in your guts at any Chompers store.

Take a classic Chompers beef patty made in-store, add bacon, add cheese, then batter the whole lot, deep fry it, and chuck it on a burger with cheese and piles of our tangy Chompers secret sauce and a tasty smear of smooth honey mustard.

We don't want to toot our own horn, here, but really...

This is pretty awesome.

I know we're supposed to be talking about food from around the world, but... 
this is right at your door.

It's something you've  got to tick off your bucket list.

Would You Like Cheese With That?

Chompers loves cheese.

Don't get me wrong: we really do. We chuck seven kinds of the stuff on our cheesy fries, and adding cheese to burgers is an old fave.



But, last year, this dude in Japan took 'add cheese' to the next level. 
If you haven't heard about this yet, then I say : you're welcome.

I can't imagine what compelled him to do it, but I like his style.

He walks into a poor, unsuspecting Burger King store. He orders a Classic Whopper. He adds cheese. Lots of cheese. 1000 pieces of cheese. 

He walks out with a burger that looks like this.

He takes it back to the office. He unwraps it. 
Yep, it's leaning against the wall for support.

350 slices of cheese later, he throws in the towel and leaves his colleges to collect the leftovers. 

So that's what 1000 extra pieces of cheese looks like.

Chompers - Where it All Began

Where did it begin? What was our inspiration?



It began with a desperate desire to 
stuff our guts with glorious food 
that just wasn't available in Brisbane

There was only one answer to our craving for wacky eats: 
a shop unlike any other.

The answer was...


Because we know big can always be bigger...


Sweet can always be sweeter... 


And one is just never enough...


From humble beginnings, a wonderful tradition was born. 


A tradition of creating food found nowhere else.
A tradition of answering the cry for creativity.
A tradition of always hunting for the next exciting combination of 
cheese, sauce, and batter that  can make our taste-buds weep with happiness.
